How can a Professional Organizer help me?

If you’re looking for order and a sense of calm in your home or office and can’t seem to create it yourself, a professional organizer can help you achieve and maintain that order and the peace of mind that comes with it. We will bring expertise and an objective eye to your situation, and help guide you to disregard unwanted objects that are cluttering your life. By hiring a professional organizer, you’re making a commitment to work toward creating the type of environment that will give you balance & structure.

How long will it take?

That depends on the size and scope of the job, and whether we’re working one-on-one or with a team. If your wiling and able to do homework between sessions on multi-session projects, the process will go much faster. 

If you want a complete over-haul and you choose to have me bring in an organizing team, reaching your goals will take significantly less time (and be less expensive).

Should I tidy my house before you come in?

No! It’s best to see the full extent of any disorder in your home and get a chance to see how you live with it. It’s important to see the piles that habitually appear. This way we can figure out how to make them disappear and stay away. Every item should have a home where they are easily found when they are needed…

What are the benefits of getting organized?

You will find yourself having more time to do the things you love, less stress in your life and the cherry on top is that you will know where everything is located. By decluttering & organizing your space, you are removing the obstacles to the harmonious flow of energy available to you. How much will it cost?

What takes place at the initial meeting?

I come and evaluate the space(s) and formulate a plan of action. Then we will discuss what problems you have with the space(s) and what you would like to see change.

I’ve never been able to stick with an organizing system, How will this be different?

We’ll start by establishing your goals and vision for your space. I will ask you questions and make suggestions based on what I think will work for you . We won’t force any system on you, but instead will work with you until we find one thats right for you. And I’ll work with you to change the habits that have made it difficult for you to stay organized in the past. I can also provide support until the new system is firmly in place. 

Is it worth the money?

When you hire a professional organizer, you make an investment in your future. Being disorganized is expensive. It hampers your productivity and costs you time and energy when you can’t find what your looking for. Everything you own has a hold on your attention. The more stuff you have, the more energy is tied up in mundane matters.
